Banen ble først åpnet med 6 hull i 1998, utvidet til 9 hull i 2010 og med oppstart av utbyggingen til 18 hull i 2012. Den ble ferdigstilt sommeren 2014 og åpnet 4. juli 2015. Det er hjemmebanen til Lofoten Golfklubb som blant annet har mer enn 100 medlemmer med adresse utenfor Lofoten (utenlands eller andre deler av Norge).
Vi ble medlem av Troon Golf i 2012, som første og foreløpig eneste bane i Skandinavia. I 2015 er vi nominert som en av tre til Verdens Beste Nye Golfbane 2015 av World Golf Awards.

The history of Lofoten Links
The course opened with 6 holes in 1998, extended to 9 holes in 2010 and started the development to 18 holes in 2012. Completed during the summer of 2014 and opened July 4 2015. This is the home course of Lofoten Golf Club with more than 100 members living outside the Lofoten islands (abroad or in other parts of Norway).
We became member of Troon Golf in 2012, as the first and so far the only course in Scandinavia. In 2015 we are nominated as one of three in the category World’s Best New Golf Course 2015 by World Golf Awards.
Course architect Jeremy Turner, length of the course 6092 m (6662 yd) from the back tee and Par 71.
